swp.xyz
Hi all, When working with the grid in Affinity Designer, how can I configure it so that the squares line up perfectly within the parameters of the document I am working on? I’ve tried adjusting the spacing in Standard mode, but it will always cut out the last column of squares somewhat (image attached). I am looking to make full page posters, and it seems to me that I would need the grid to be uniformly distributed across the space in order to arrange elements into a balanced layout. Am I not understanding something obvious? Any insight/advice is appreciated!
Staff Lee D Posted October 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 4, 2018 To have a perfect grid the canvas/document has to be the correct size. For example having a document size of 8"x8" and having the grid spacing set to 2" will result in grid of 4x4.
DM1
For an A4 page, tap the little white triangle next to context menu to get adjustable grid.
