connecting text boxes

I pasted 9 pt text to in a box, created a new box for the overspill but when the text cam in it did so at 1.1pt set solid. Very strange.

I did this same thing.  My text is 11 pt.  Clicked on the text flow icon, drew a new text frame for the next document page, and the overflow text came in at 3 points for two lines.  Also the left-right margins of the two lines of 3 pt. text were much more narrow (but justified) than the balance of the text which came in at 11 points and justified to the entire left-right margins of the text frame.

You tried to scale the frame with the wrong handle. There are two handle bottom right of a text frame:

• the inner one resizes the container and not its text content
• the outer one resizes the container and the content.

I didn't realize that, resizing the box v the text. Thanks.
