Split Screen comparison

Recommended Posts

Hi, is there a way to compare via splitscreen two files with each other? One which I have edited already and another original file? So when I hover around it takes me to the same spot on the other split screen?

You could simply save the original image as a locked background layer. Copy that layer and make edits to the copy. Group the edited layers (or flatten image) and switch between the background layer (original) and final layer (group or flattened layer) by ticking or unticking view icon on layer.

Hi dronecrasher :)

Depending on which OS version you're running, you can float or separate your windows to view multiple files on screen at once. On Windows this is under Window>Float and on Mac this is under Window>Separated Mode.

However, this isn't currently possible, unless you use a workaround as described by DM1 :)
