I am posting this just to let people know that I briefly saw this problem with the current beta (1.1.2.23923) but have been unable to reproduce it. It happened with 3 successive "save"s and, with the 4th, corrected itself and has not (yet) reappeared. If anyone else has seen this perhaps they could post and let the developers know if it is more common than just an odd "off".

I was using AP as an external editor for Dxo Optics Pro 10 and had sent a tiff to AP for adjusting. After completing the adjustments I saved the file (using the save command, not the export command) and found only 2/3 of the image displayed in Optics Pro as the return. That is, the image looked as though someone had cropped off the bottom 1/3 of the image. At first I thought it was just a problem in how Optics Pro was displaying the thumbnail, but I "saved" it again. Again, I only had the top 2/3 of the image.

At this point I went back to make sure my original image was not somehow cropped, but it was fine. I was intrigued enough by this issue to load the saved tiff back into AP directly - that is, I directly opened the image using the File -> Open command. Sure enough the image loaded and only the top 2/3 of the image appeared.

I then re-saved the original file (not the newly loaded one) back 2 more times and, the second save (this now being the actual 4th save) the image saved correctly. I have not seen this problem again but, if I do, I will save the tiff for uploading.

I am not filing this as a bug because it could just have been a transient issue, but I did want to post a marker so anyone else who might have seen something like this could append to this thread and let the developers know if there is a real issue.

Thanks for your patience (if you read this far  :) ).

Hello,

I have had the same issue between Lightroom and AP with a JPEG file, Half picture was black back in Lightroom. I tried "save" again and then .. It works well.

Having smillar issue with tiff save here.  Images from my Epson 4990 scanner and VueScan work fine.  Larger images are scanned in scetions, then stitched in PS.  The larger images (about 355MB) are flattened and saved as a tiff.  The larger files open fine in AP, but any attempt to save them again as a tiff results in about 1/8 of the image at the top and the rest of the fame is garbage.
