markbowen
Hi, Is there a simple way to cut paths? I've attached a video which shows me drawing a path and then adding two extra nodes to it. I'd then like to be able to select those extra nodes, delete them and then the path would become 2 paths instead of one. Much like a dotted line although a dotted line is not what I'm after here and not why I'm asking. I'm actually trying to do some quite complex drawing but need to be able to cut through paths like this all over the place so asking now before I get too far in. Many thanks, Mark 32952905-310E-4F9D-A9C9-F853A224720B.MOV Quote https://www.instagram.com/mbphotomanipulationshttps://www.behance.net/mbphotomanipulations Affinity Photo 1.7.2 Mac OSX 10.12.5 Mac Pro (Mid 2010)
markbowen
Gahhh!!! Just came across the 'Break' command in the pen tool palette when I swiped across to the second section in that palette!!! Really need to look into all of those more often. Anyway, all fixed now, sorry about the post. Best wishes, Mark Quote https://www.instagram.com/mbphotomanipulationshttps://www.behance.net/mbphotomanipulations Affinity Photo 1.7.2 Mac OSX 10.12.5 Mac Pro (Mid 2010)
Staff Lee D Posted August 7, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 7, 2018 After selecting to two extra nodes, switch the Context toolbar to it's next menu and tap Break. Now switch to the Move tool and you can move and delete the middle section.
