Thanks for your feedback.
Although there's no symmetrical tool setting/option, symbols may be used to create symmetric shapes duplicating them and flipping the duplicate horizontally (or vertically). It may not be as practical as a dedicated tool but may help in some situations.

I'm not sure i understood your second request. Can you expand a bit please? Affinity Designer should close the paths automatically if you place the last node of the path over the first one (when using the Pen Tool). Am i missing something? Are you referring to other tools like the Vector Brush Tool?

1.Symmetrical drawing:(For some symmetric objects)

2.Close the path when the terminal is in this range.(Very important for drawing graphics)

Thanks for the videos licong. I see what you mean now. The first one (symmetric) is already possible using symbols as i described above. Check this thread and the sample file shared by @Tamauro in the first post to see what's possible using symbols.

Regarding the second request currently this is not possible. It's now up to the dev team to consider it for a future update.
