kanpro
Very poor performance on Windows, The pen goes faster than the drawing. I have i7 7820X, 32 GB RAM and Quadro M4000. What's the use of having a good team if I have a bad performance? Sure on MAC has better performance than Windows (Metal Vs CUDA)

It uses CPU not GPU for most of its work. Affinity wouldn't really get much benefit out of CUDA, as explained by Ben on this post. And that's what I notice that affinity lacks.

And that's what I notice that affinity lacks. Lots of people probably have Metal set in their preferences but that doesn't necessarily mean they get better performance over that of the OpenGL users. It would be interesting to see what if any performance improvements users are getting using Metal instead of OpenGL if there is any improvements at all. This Post might help explain the option for Metal on Apple devices, see James Ritson's post: Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more...
