Champ
Hi I use to use photoplus from serif which had an option like photoshop transform tool. However I’m not finding that option on iPad Pro . I had my hopes up that I could warp any layer with ease . Can this be done? I’ve read some threads but tend to drift away from start topic. Any ideas anyone. Thanks again
Staff MEB Posted May 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 2, 2018 Hi Champ, Welcome to Affinity Forums Yes, you can do this in Affinity Photo for iPad. Go to the Filters Studio, tap the button that says < All Filters > on top and select Distortions to display just the distortions filters then look for the Mesh Warp filter. To add more control points (nodes) double-tap inside the mesh area. Drag the nodes to distort the layer as you see fit. Just for reference there's a Perspective filter there too. I'm moving this thread to the iPad Questions section. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Champ
Hi mem on iPad only icons I have no titles, only thing I can find is a basic move squash and squish. Can you be more specific on icons for iPad, I will keep looking but can’t see nothing that says all filters. Thanks mem,
Champ
Hi mem, I found it , on iPad it looks like a wine glass icon, and have finally found your instructions. Thanks again for your help.
Staff MEB Posted May 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 2, 2018 Hi Champ, Yes, the Filters Studio looks like a “glass of wine”. If you tap and hold the question mark on the bottom right of the interface it will show tooltips with the names of all panels and tools on the interface. Alfred
13 hours ago, Champ said: on iPad it looks like a wine glass icon I think the Filters Studio icon is meant to look like a filter funnel (such as you might find in a chemistry lab). A wineglass usually has a flat base so that it can stand up unsupported, unlike someone who has drunk too much from it!
