Icon not visible in link or .exe - Designer

Recommended Posts

On windows software icons normally reside within the exe file.

Have you tried right-clicking the icon space and selecting Properties. From there you should see a shortcut tab, under Target: it should point to Affinity Designers .exe file.

Below that you will see three buttons, you can click on Change Icon... and if Target: is pointing at the exe file it will show you what icons are available.

Hi @GabrielM. Thank you. That is the solution. Delete "IconCache.db" in "C:\Users\xxxxxxxxxx\AppData\Local". In this link, although it is in Spanish and it is for w7, it is perfectly valid for w10. The detailed steps come. Thanks again!!
