alkey
Similar to photoshops, there would be an option to stack photos to create a photo that is in full focus, used for landscapes or macro. justwilliam
I find it difficult to comprehend that there aren't more voices crying out for this feature and I do not know what value adding my small voice may have; but here it is: Focus stacking feature. Soon. Please. Thank you. doeboy and Tim b
ColinB
This is the feature I most want at the moment. I've just started to do stacking with macro photography and my process has to be doing my initial processing on the raw files, then exporting as tiffs before using Zerene Stacker to create the image for final processing. It's too long-winded. Tim b and justwilliam
justwilliam
I can certainly make good use of simple focus stacking for a portion of my images (mostly for my medium-sized product shots but it is not such that I must have it - like for jewellery, etc.). I have been holding off on purchasing Zerene Stacker (or even Helicon Focus Lite) in the hopes that it will become a feature in AP and not only then save me time in that workflow but also enable such a workflow to 'flow'. killwilly
Don't we already have it, File> New Stack?
Kambis
Don't we already have it, File> New Stack? No. Focus stacking requires masking based on contrast detection in the stack which is not there.
dbazuin
I stil not sure if I would buy Affinity Photo. Because it mis this feature. Macro is what I do mostly on the moment, zo I really can use this feature
Chris_K
I believe Focus stacking (or Focus merging as we are calling it) will be a feature available in the 1.5 release. a sneak preview can be seen here. Although it shows it on the iPad, it will be a included for all the platforms. Lotus7
Anxiously waiting for focus stacking or “focus merging” capability. It’s a "must have" for most macro work today. Is there a tentative release date for release 1.5 ? Thanks for the focus on constant improvement, and adding capability to Affinity Photo! (sorry, I couldn’t resist) :)
