jackamus
My grey images have a slight 'reddish' hue. This may be due to messing around with colour profilers. Ho do I reset the default colour profiles with changing all my other personal settings? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! R C-R
An example .afdesign file would make what you are talking about clearer, but assuming the images just have greys & no color, you could open File > Document Setup to the Color tab & change the Color format to Grey/8 or Grey/16. That should get rid of any color cast. If it does not, it probably means your system monitor color profile is wrong. jackamus
Yes that did the trick. It was previously set on RGB/8. Shouldn't there be a colour profile where the greys are greys and the colours are colours? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! jackamus
Just so I get this right - you want a screen shot of the colour page of AD 'Preferences' and also the colour page when I select the Documents page set up. Is that correct? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. jackamus
OK I'll try again. I'm getting a '-200' problem uploading the files. Is this something I'm doing wrong? jackamus
Thank you for the advice. I had a personalised printer profile made to get the best printing results when using Photoshop. I will now go back and reset an sRGB document profile and see what happens. Are my other screenshot settings OK? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! jackamus
Yes this is what I normally when doing quality printing. What is a 'Soft Proof Adjustment layer" is this an AD thing?
