Drone360 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Hello. I've done some searching on Affinity Photo trying to find a tutorial on Pan and Zoom for photos. I know it can be done with a bit of video as a resource, but I am looking for a still image to apply this technique when someone mouses over an image. Anyone know? Quote
Staff Lee D Posted February 27, 2018 Staff Posted February 27, 2018 Hi Drone360, Welcome to the forums. Affinity Photo doesn't have options to apply a pan & zoom to an image to then export. You'd normally see something like this on websites as code is written for the larger image to appear when an area is scrolled over. Drone360 1 Quote
telemax Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Hello. I use mouse whell for Zoom. And mouse middle button for Pan. It's very convenient and fast. (of course, if you do not mean editing photos, crop, zoom blur etc.) Quote Non-destructive Mask https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/150439-non-destructive-mask/Image layer & Pixel layer https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/146720-image-layer-and-pixel-layer/Brushes | Stars https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/135202-brushes-stars/
Drone360 Posted February 27, 2018 Author Posted February 27, 2018 Thanks for the replies, Lee and Telemax! I thought I had been missing something. Actually, yes these images in the discussion were on a Wordpress website. I was trying to replicate the action on mine without having to use video (I don't code or use Wordpress). With video, it is a different action in comparison. Having the image zoom a bit to show action, alone when moused over, would have done the trick for me. Again, many thanks! Quote
