Peter J G
Hi, I'm using 1.6 Designer (also very new to it) I wanted to do a page of horizontal lines, say about 1/4" apart, can I do this in 1 or 2 movements and not drag one after the other, or copy and paste... YES or NO will do, thank you.
Staff MEB Posted January 25, 2018 Staff Share Posted January 25, 2018 Hi Peter J G, Welcome to Affinity Forums Yes, you can either draw one line duplicate it to 1/4" apart then use Power Duplicate to fill the rest of the page or set a grid (menu View ▸ Grid and Axis Manager...) if you want to use the lines just as references. v_kyr
Note further that in the "Grid and Axis Manager" MEB mentioned, you can also edit the horz/vert grid list entry fields and thus there type in values in the form of 1/4", 2*1/4", 3*1/4" ... etc. Peter J G 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
Peter J G
Got it, Thank you. I should've asked earlier instead of fiddling around. I watched your Power Duplicate video. success. thanks. pen tool, shift hold, drag one line with pointer, then cmd J, (as many times as I want. ) I also did the star image for fun, (as in the Power Duplicate video) with success.
