Open documents on startup

Erm, it doesn't, for me.

 

Affinity Designer - Mac

 

I have the pref set to open documents on startup but AD always launches with no documents. I've tried deselecting the pref then reselecting it, having a variety of documents open when I quit etc but it always launches with no documents open. Not a huge problem but I'd like to fix it. Anyone any suggestions, please?

If you save the document first, then close Designer (without closing the docs) it should reopen them. (if Reopen Document is ticked in prefs)

 

It does for me with the two I tried

 

Windows 10. Designer 1.6 something.

Yes, that is the behaviour I was expecting but it always launches with no documents open for me.

On Macs, if the setting in System Preferences > General for "Close windows when quitting an app" is enabled, then the Affinity preference setting won't matter:

Thank you. I'd never really noticed this option before but it was the one causing problems, all appears to be fine now. Thanks again.
