pen tool, nodes, symmetry...

1.
Why has the top node 2 handles and the other just one? I have converted all nodes to all modes, but it keeps so.

Any way that a 2-handle-node acts more "symmetric"? I mean moving ONE handle (with a mod-key) will force its brother to the same lenght! I tried all mod-keys, i can straight and break (isolate) a hande, but not "symmetric" booth.

Is there any possibility to force 2 vis-a-vis-nodes into the same length?
Example: I draw a heart with 4 nodes (i´m too foolish, to make it with just 3).
If the first „snap-option“ is checked, its easy to move the booth middle nodes and the left/right pair to useful positions, because there pops a temporally guide-line if the positions are beeing „matches“.
But to get it really symmetrical the „axe-handles“ of the left/right nodes must have the same length and winkle.
Is there any help for doing this? At least a popup-guide for matching length of this „point“ comparing to the "brother node"?????

Because the others are at the ends of the path. There is nothing there for a second handle to control.

If the two handles are not the same length, hold down the Shift key when dragging one of them with the Node tool. When it reaches approximately the same length as the other one, it will snap to that same length & you will see the two tiny tick marks indicating that they are the same.

I do not see this this marks, but there is a markable snap-jump, so it works, thank you.

Its not the easiest tool, but what a "secret-weapon" :-)
