make affinity only recognize pen touch and not hand?

Just wondering if there is a way to make affinity designer only recognize when my pen touches the screen and not my hand? I would like to be able to rest my hand on the screen and draw as if I was drawing on paper but everything i try the program still recognizes my hand.. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What are you running AD on?  What sort of screen are you using?
