cusr Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I am trying to export a bunch of slices in the Export Persona. I only need the 2x retina ones.(And file name should remain default which don't append '@2x') So what I do is, 1.Select all slice I want to export 2.Click the Retina PNG-24 preset But Designer added 1x and 2x export options for all the slices. Is there a way to delete all 1x export options for these selections and get rid of [scale suffix] for those selections? Quote
R C-R Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 You can create your own export setup presets, for example one that excludes the scale suffix & 1x size, & use that instead of the Retina PNG-24 one. Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2017 Staff Posted November 23, 2017 Hi curs, Welcome to Affinity Forums In the Slices panel (Export Persona) click the small arrow on the left of the thumbnail of the slice you want to set up to show the slice export options. Set the first dropdown to 2x and click the slice's name button immediately on the right - remove the Scale suffix tag on the Path components field on top in the popup that will open and click Done. You have now configured one slice as you want. Now with it selected click the Copy export setup to clipboard button on the right of the Export presets dropdown (on top of the slices panel) to copy that setup to the clipboard. Select any other slices you want to set up the same way holding ⌘ (cmd) and clicking on them (or shift click to select the first and last one) then press the Replace export setup from clipboard button on the right of the Export presets dropdown. All slices should now have the same export config. Then export them as usual. You can also save this export setup after setting up the first slice to apply to the others or for later reuse: click the small menu icon on the top right of the Slices panel and select Create export setup preset... to save it.
