Frenchy
I just updated (2017/11/04) Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer to versions 1.6 from the App Store. But unlike your announcement about free bonus content, when opening the 2 applications no links regarding these bonuses does not appear on the home screen! Staff MEB Posted November 6, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 6, 2017 Hi Frenchy, Welcome to Affinity Forums Are you running any anti-virus/firewall or any other software that may be interfering with the internet connection like Little Snitch? If so turn them off or allow Affinity Designer/Photo access to the internet. To see the welcome Screen in case you turned it off previously go to menu Help ▸ Welcome Screen.... The link to the extras is located in one of the pages of the horizontal scroller. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
DuctTape
The content has limited use so it's not free, don't waste your time! Read the EULA

Read the EULA The terms of the various EULAs differ. For example, the Uplift Epic Skies EULA allows unlimited use in personal and/or commercial projects, while the Frankentoon one restricts commercial use to a single commercial project for you or a client. DuctTape
There should be no limits on the commercial or personal use of images, brushes etc.. the way I read it is that if you use any of the downloaded not so "Free Content" it's "one client or one logo usage". The word FREE makes it sound like a heck of a deal then to top it off we put a value $ £ on FREE so FREE is never FREE at all.
