You're right, Mike, but my screenshot did not show it because it's the default behavior when opening the function.

Thank you for mentioning, I should have stated it to be quite complete.

You don't need to copy the text layer to get the stroke behind the original. You can set the Draw behind fill checkbox in the Stroke panel instead.
