Hello,

I am new to Affinity, so please excuse me if this question looks obvous.

I wonder how I can rotate an object aroud a point other than its center. I would like to move the rotation point...

Is it possible?

Thank a lot in advance.

Until that feature is coming, I use this way.

Draw a circle with center at the point where you want to rotate and make sure the circle fully surrounds the object you want to rotate.

Then select the circle and your object and rotate together, then your object will rotate around the circles center.

Just delete the circle when you are done or just hide it for later.

Good idea pmeinertz.  Thank you.  Nice tip.  Too bad they can't be linked.  I guess a group works.  FYI a donut shape helps because the center point is marked and saved.
