jsexson
I know there is a feature on adobe illustrator were it will package all your files together (vectors, fonts, backgrounds, etc) into one file so it is easier to give to your printer. Is there a similar feature in Affinity Designer that I am over looking?
Staff Callum Posted May 25, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 25, 2017 Hi Jsexson, Welcome to the Forums :) Unfortunately there isn't a feature like this in Affinity Designer at the moment I'm afraid. jsexson
How do you let the company know that it is something that you think would bring value to there customers?
MikeW
How many print providers already have, or will have AD to even utilize a package function? I've never given a print establishment native files for work I do. Since pdfs became a thing, that's what they get. (Before that it was Postscript files to image.) fairmontcreative
I always provide the printer with an outlined EPS file when working from Illustrator. However, when doing print design the vendors I use prefer a packaged InDesign file. Something like this would be a very valuable feature! jsexson
I guess I shouldn't of put just for the printers. I do use it for that and also I like having it to keep my projects organized.
