newmanglenn
How are new fonts added to the existing list of fonts already in Affinity Designer?
Staff Callum Posted May 22, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 22, 2017 Hi Newmanglenn, Welcome to the Forums :) Affinity uses your system fonts so you don't need to do anything to get them to show in Affinity just install as you would normally on your operating system and they will show in the font list :) The below link should be able to help you further with this. https://www.howtogeek.com/192980/how-to-install-remove-and-manage-fonts-on-windows-mac-and-linux/ C newmanglenn 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Alfred
just install as you would normally on your operating system and they will show in the font list It should be noted that (at least on Windows) if a font is reported as missing when you open an Affinity document, merely installing the font is not currently enough to make the text display correctly. You need to close the document and then reopen it.
