Kiekooft Posted March 7, 2017 Share Posted March 7, 2017 When, in the develop module, I try to open up the shadows, the tool quickly messes up the colours and I cannot get to the full effect I want. Are there any plans to improve this algorithm? The Curves tool does not quite help me to the full extent of what I want either. Otherwise, the package has all the tools I need for my basic editing. It can replace all I need from Lightroom and Photoshop Elements (14), I just still use Lightroom for the initial developments, specifically to work on the shadows. We are aware of some issues with the Shadows & Highlights within the Develop persona and they are with the developers to look into further. - S - Posted March 7, 2017 Share Posted March 7, 2017 As an interim solution, it may help to use a Shadown/Highlights live filter layer (in the Edit persona) to open up the shadows instead.
