  1. Hello Mousyfox, I have the two programs installed also and love them both. In trying to combine them optimally, I would love to know how you manage your workflow.
  2. Thanks, all of you and @Stokerg particularly. I now installed the old version of the software from scratch onto my (larger) e: drive (my 'system' drive is only a 128GB SSD drive that is virtually full). Ninstalled the new version over it.ext step was to update. The updater flawlessly found the setup and installed the 1.7.1 version over it. Me happy!
  3. Well, after reboot, I was able to install a previous version of AP: version 1.6.5.123 When trying to update again, all was lost and I can start all over ... Setup.log SetupUI.log
  4. I tried to update my Affinity Photo version to the new 1.7.1.404 but only get a 'setup failed' screen. This is not the biggest problem: my 'old' version just vanished and I am now unable to run the program at all
  5. When, in the develop module, I try to open up the shadows, the tool quickly messes up the colours and I cannot get to the full effect I want. Are there any plans to improve this algorithm? The Curves tool does not quite help me to the full extent of what I want either. Otherwise, the package has all the tools I need for my basic editing. It can replace all I need from Lightroom and Photoshop Elements (14), I just still use Lightroom for the initial developments, specifically to work on the shadows.
  6. I encounter the same with a Bamboo Pad tablet. I also have a second monitor, not sure (have not tried) if this is the culprit and/or if it works on the one screen. I intend to use the bigger monitor for editing, so... LR and PSE14 work just fine with my configuration.
  7. I am using a Bamboo Pad (model CTH-301) for photo editing. Whenever I just get my stylus near the tablet and this one starts reacting, Affinity Photo crashes.
