Albo
I can't seem to export a 300 dpi TIFF for print. I change the resolution in the document setting. When I export it reverts back to 72 dpi. I tried numerous times but it is not a 300 dpi. Actually when you export there is no setting for dpi ? How do i export a TIFF at 300 dpi !!! Staff MEB Posted February 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 16, 2017 Hi Albo, There's an issues when exporting to some file formats that i believe also affects TIFF files. In the Export dialog click the More button and uncheck Embed Metadata. Then try export the TIFF. Let me know if this solved the issue. HVDB Photography
When after resizing the original document to 300 DPI Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C (copy to clipboard) Open a new Document via : File > New From Clipboard Check via : Document > Resize Document >> automatically resets 300 DPI to 96 DPI Reset : Document > Resize Document >> to 300 DPI File > Export (as TIFF-format) >> 300 DPI is maintained (with "Embed Metadata" checked) A bit confusing isn't it ?
