lizzie
Hello, Apologies if this question has already been answered somewhere, I've really been struggling to find the right wording to do a search! I'm really liking Designer right now, the only thing I'm really missing is the feature from Adobe Illustrator where you can use the pen tool to draw a curve between two nodes, then you can click on the most recent node, which will release the curve but allow you to still draw from that node, as a straight line or non-symmetrical curve. Is this at all possible in Affinty Designer please? Many thanks for your time and help!! Lizzie
Staff TonyB Posted November 21, 2014 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2014 Any chance of screen shot of what you are trying to achieve. We have most use cases covered so I think we should be able to help.
Staff MEB Posted November 21, 2014 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2014 Hi lizzie, Welcome to Affinity Forums. Yes. it's possible. Instead of clicking on the node, as you do in Illustrator, press alt and click on the control handle (the smaller blue point) you want to make disappear. Then you can release the alt key and continue drawing (a straight line). lizzie 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Raskolnikov
what about ben able to set the arrow in the nodes to equal distance by grabbing one of them while using a shortkey? ... maybe it's useful many times...
