Phat_Monkey
Hi there guys, is there a way to stop the previous brush stroke from darkening the next, I understand if I am at 100 opacity then its not so bad, but I am working around 20% adding makeup to a model etc... kaffeeundsalz
Hello Ryan, I'm not really sure if I understand what you're trying to do, but if I get this right, you want to achieve consistent opacity when painting over a layer. There are a couple of ways to achieve this in Photo; a simple one would be to create an empty pixel layer, set the layer opacity to 20 %, set the brush stroke opacity to 100 % and then paint on that pixel layer. If you're still unhappy with the blending of the brush strokes at the edges, you might also want to take the hardness all the way up to 100 %. Cheers kaffeeundsalz Hi there, thanks for your answer, it's hard to explain, so lets say I wanted to paint green onto photo at an opacity of 20% so it blends nicely, now say I missed a spot, by painting on top of the original green I painted on would now cause another darker layer to be created that I do not want... Sorry if I am confusing :D
kaffeeundsalz
No, you're welcome. I actually got you right then. You can prevent this with my suggestion. Simply set the transparency for the layer and not for the brush.
