panopano Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 A short feedback to the panorama feature on Affinity Photo 1.5.0.42 Windows Beta. I've noticed that Affinity Photo is not able to stitch slanted single-shots correctly. I am aware that this is a very special thing and alternative programs like PTGui do this job much better. Nevertheless can I hope that this issue in future version will be fixed? Example: 8 slanted single-shots for a equirectangular 360° panorama Output after stitching And here the output after stitching with PTGui Regards and many thanks for the hard work, Andy Edit: Topic title expanded

PaulAffinity Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Panorama is OK in Affinity, but I must admit ICE (free) is my goto choice for speed, accuracy and options... P
panopano Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 ICE is nice but the reference for professional stitching results is PTGui Pro.
Chris_K Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Hi Panopano I;ve passed these files on to the development team so see if we can improve our panorama functionality Cheers Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
