Colour picker Bug

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this is bug or is it intended like this but it extremely limits my workflow.

When I'm painting using paintbrush or pixel tool I'm constantly picking colors from the same painting using Alt key on keyboard. And it works fine.

But If I try to pick color with Alt key from another opened image it doesn't work. It picks color but when you go back to other opened image it switches back to the last color I've selected on that image.

Is this intended to be like that or is it a bug?

Thanks

I have also detected that  (I do also paint like you, picking colors from canvas) when you do that a lot and fast, at some point it wont change, you pick the color, in a cent of a second it changes but changes back to what it had. So yep, I believe there's issues with the picker... At least in this mode of usage...

Hi Veidd

If you have both images open in affinty then the colour picker will one apply to the active document, which as the time is the second image you picked the colour from. However, on the colour panel the small circle next to the colour picker there will change and this will carry over between documents. You can click on this circle with the objects selected to apply the colour

I know that. But its not helping. I would have to click on that little circle few hundred times during the painting process. Why not make it simple and change color instantly without need for an extra click? Doesn't make any sense way it is now.
