Is it possible with the selection frame also two select on the same layer? I mean several selections.

As an example I want to mark two tires with the selection frame.

Hey MEB

Have everything tried. Then there must be a bug here. It does not work.ag9iiess.gif

Are you shift+clicking in order to add multiple selections?

Hi MaxHecks,

Sorry i didn't noted you were talking about Photo. I've corrected the previous post but was to late. Here's how to create a multiple selection: hold down the right-mouse button and then click and drag the left mouse button to create multiple selections.

To achieve the same thing on Affinity Photo for Mac press and hold ⌃(ctrl) while dragging the marquee.

@verysame

My last reply was incorrect, sorry.

I have tried. And any other combination. Does it work at you?

Hey MEB

Okay you have to release the left button, then the right button.
This is tricky! My timeing was not quite optimal. :D  Can this also be solved with a button? Also for a Grafiktablett I would find another solution with key better.

Currently no, but we are thinking in changing this. The reason behind it is that on the Mac we have 4 modifiers keys while on Windows we have only three. So the fourth was assigned to the right-mouse click but it's not very intuitive. It should be changed later to a combination of modifiers or another solution.

Thanks for your help. I'm very used to the button operation. And an old donkey like me, is very difficult to teach. ;)
