HorseBoy
Hi, I am looking for a way to have .psd files show thumbnails in Windows Explorer, just like .bmp, .png files etc. do by default (in the Extra large / large / medium icons views) . Is this possible from within Photo, or through a plugin (even a Photoshop one) or through any other app, may be? Thanks.

If you don't want to use a different File Browser, try FastpictureViewer Codec Pack Quote regards, Ablichter
verysame
If you don't want to use a different File Browser, try FastpictureViewer Codec Pack Ablitchter, In the thread I linked, Fastpicture Codec Pack is mentioned but lately I've also tried a few freeware alternatives still, mentioned in the same thread. Those alternatives work fine, although I personally prefer Fastpicture: it's not expensive and really fast. So I tought his primary target are file operations (copy, move, rename, zip, ftp, send by email, etc.) not file browsing in particular. Exactly, If you look at the thread there are two type of suggestions: one is for browsing, the other is for explorer thumbnails. As you suggested, I also think Fastcodec is great in fact I use it at home. There are also free alternatives, suggested in the thread mentioned, which I repost here: Media Preview Argus Viewer Sage Thumbs I tried the free alternatives on another machine. Now, I'm not sure which one did the trick. I ended up installing all three of them :) Quote Andrew - Win10 x64 AMD Threadripper 1950x, 64GB, 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD + 2TB, dual GTX 1080ti Dual Monitor Dell Ultra HD 4k P2715Q 27-Inch
