Changed old iMac for new iMac - But can't find my designer program?

Recommended Posts

Here is the story:

Bought AD some time ago (soon after launch), but found out that my old iMac could not run it properly because of Lion OS not being able to work with open GL. So I shelved the program (on a disk) with a copy of the serial number.

Recently bought a new (second hand) iMac running El Capitan and immediately looked for my registered copy of AD to install?

You've guessed it! Can't find it any where?

So I was hoping that a Serif MOD could tell me how to get a replacement?

There is no serial number for the Affinity Designer on the Mac. All purchases are handled through the Mac App Store in the OS. All you need to do is log into the Mac App Store with your Apple account, the one you use to purchase Affinity Designer, and it will automatically show up in the 'Purchase' tab ready for you to download.

Thanks Andrew - It has been a year or so, and I just bought the Windows version, so I got confused because the Windows version does have a serial number?

Now all I need to do is remember my Mac App Store details? - Yes! I am a pratt!
