"Finder" and "Media Browser"

Recommended Posts

In reading through AP Help, I found the references below to "Finder" and “Media Browser”. A friend searched and found that “Finder” was something on Macs. Re “Media Browser”, the statement below that it is in “View” is incorrect. It is not there.

To open an image as a new document (via Finder):
•   Open Finder and drag the file to an off page area of your workspace.
To open a raw image as a new document (via Finder):
•   Open Finder and drag the file to an off page area of your workspace.
To add an image to a layer (via Finder):
•   Drag an image from Finder to your page. The image will be added to the project as a new layer.

Media Browser

The Media Browser is a storage area providing quick access to saved images.

You can access the Media Browser from the View menu.

Options available in the dialog via -click menus

Show in Finder—opens the selected folder or file in Finder.
