Skyesofrock Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Most of the time (not all of the time, difficult to tell when it will strike) the "Space After Paragraph" setting in the Paragraph panel sets itself to 12pt rather than a default value, regardless of the font size. This is based on a fresh installation of RC2 on Windows 10 Pro; it's effectively happening on the first document I've produced with this installation of AD and I haven't changed any of the default settings. If there's any other details you need, let me know and I'll try to provide them.
Staff Sean P Posted October 25, 2016 Staff Posted October 25, 2016 The default behaviour for text objects is to set the Space After to 12pt. When you say 'rather than a default value' what kind of value are you expecting?

When you say 'rather than a default value' what kind of value are you expecting? I'd expect the default value to be automatically set by the font size I'm currently using. For example, if I'm using 3pt as a font size, I'd expect the Space After to match it (set to 3pt).

MikeW Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 I would expect a 0 value as a default space before/after until explicitly set to a value and/or saved in a style or template. Skyesofrock 1
Skyesofrock Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 I would expect a 0 value as a default space before/after until explicitly set to a value and/or saved in a style or template. I checked back and in fact a default value of 0 makes much more sense. For a minute I thought a value of 0 would mean the vertical position wouldn't change at all, meaning no line break. ...my bad
