cabano Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Hello everyone, You're taking by storm the Big Players of Design and photo editing tools. You're the next Adobe best & better alternative. I did order both your Affinity photo and affinity design excellent softwares. Today I need more because I became addicted to your wonderful tools. I would be glad to use all your softwares on my Macbook. Please think about us and give us the chance to achieve more by using your (windows only) softwares. Many thanks for your support. The future belongs to YOU. Best regards. Quote
R C-R Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I am not sure what you mean about giving "us" (who?) a chance to use windows only softwares. Serif has said they are no longer developing their Windows products, & all their efforts are going into the new Affinity line. Currently, there are only two retail Affinity products, Designer & Photo, & they are available only for Macs. Affinity Designer for Windows is still in development. Windows users can download & test the beta versions from this site, but it will be a while before the fully functional retail version is released. If you are a Mac user & want to use one Serif's Windows apps, you could buy it & run it using Boot Camp or maybe Parallels to run Windows on your Mac, but since these are end-of-life products you won't be getting full value for your money. 000 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
Staff MEB Posted September 24, 2016 Staff Posted September 24, 2016 Hi cabano, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The Plus line of Serif products on Windows is not being developed anymore. Serif is now working on a single cross platform suite of software called Affinity. Currently there's two commercial products for Mac: Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo (you can purchase them through the Mac App Store on your Mac). For Windows there's only one product (still in development): Affinity Designer, currently in Beta testing. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
