It's fairly hard to find anything in the side panels when everything is just black. There's just too many small details and nothing that the eye could hold on to when searching for a specific setting or item. Especially the Text panel with its numerous small fields is hard to read.

The headers and separators should really stand out and have a higher colour contrast. Inverting them would certainly achieve this, but even more different shades of grey could be used. It takes a lot of attention and careful reading everything my eye rests on to find the option I need, I can't just scan over the UI and find what I need without reading it all.

You're probably using Visual Studio 2015 on Windows. Set it to the Dark theme (or the Light theme) and you get what Designer looks like now, everything's basically got the same colour. Set it to the Blue theme and you get something readable. Just for a comparison and a good example.

hi ygoe

Thanks for the feedback. There have been a number of users on both the Windows and Mac side who have reported similar ideas for the UI so we shall take them all into consideration

Cheers
