Schubi63
Hi, I was missing an obvious option to remove a layer fx, for example by: 1. context menu (RMB) 2. an entry in menu layers (plus shortcut) 3. via drag 'n drop (like in Adobe Phoooooop) Up to now, I had seen me forced to click on the fx icon and then deselect all used fx (in worst case all 10) to get rid of the fx. Together with all the mouse movements too much clicks and precise mouse work. WORKAROUND (I just found today): w1. CMD+C on an element with no layer fx (and no style) w2. CTRL+CMD+V to paste the fx So now this feature request can be seen as low-prio/cosmetic :) Keep continue working on this great piece of software, Stefan. see also: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/24663-toggle-layer-fx-onoff/ Quote Affinity Designer | Affinity Photo | Affinity Publisher macOS Sierra 10.13.6; MacBookPro (13 inch, Early 2015); 3.1 GHz i7 CPU; 16 GB RAM
Staff MEB Posted September 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2016 Yes, we could have a way to temporarily disable and delete all the FX without checking/unchecking all the checkboxes. This was already requested before but wasn't implemented. Improvement logged. Thanks Stefan. evtonic3
Create a style that has a simple drop shadow, but then turn down the opacity to zero. It would appear that the effect has been turned off when you reapply this to anything that had a previous effect of any kind. Now I'm not sure if this would work for everyone, and I have not tested this thoroughly but it has helped me out to get rid of the effects applied to an object quickly and also to command click several items that needed to be cleaned up to have no effect.
