A.L.L. Media L.L.C.
(split by moderator from unrelated thread) Hello, When I open a new RAW image in Affinity, there's a purple hue to it. Snapping is disabled in the Snapping Manager. This is a new occurrence for me (within the past couple of weeks). The images do not have this hue when opened in other programs. Any suggestions? Thank you -
Alfred
Welcome to the Affinity Forums, hitterjiller. :) It sounds as though Affinity isn't handling that particular raw format correctly. What is the make and model of your camera? If you're on a Mac, have you tried using the Apple OS X raw engine instead of the Affinity one? Staff MEB Posted September 11, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2016 Hello hitterjiller, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Are you using a Canon 80D? This camera/model is not supported in the Mac App Store version (1.4.2). The latest Photo Beta 1.5 already supports it. If you are willing to give it a try you can download the Beta from here. Just remember to keep the Mac Apple Store version installed to be able to validate/run it. Also keep in mind that files created or saved with the latest Beta are not compatible with previous versions. A.L.L. Media L.L.C.
Thank you, MEB (and Alfred), for responding. Yes, I'm using the 80D. I will download 1.5 Beta and keep 1.4.2. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! B)
