Hoots
Can anyone define all the size options for affinity.....I am not an expert on graphics but I do good enough that people want me to make things for them. I just get all confused about the resolution/size list because it is all in pixel sizes or something. I just need to know what sizes would compare to lets say an 8.5x11 size to smaller or bigger. Hokusai
Hoots, Can you better explain your question? I am having a hard time to understand what exactly you would like to know. Hokusai
R C-R
A pixel is often defined as the 'fundamental unit of information' of a digital image. They are theoretical units that by themselves do not have any specific physical size. If you are preparing a digital image for printing, you can define its default print size with the DPI (dots per inch) setting, which specifies how many pixels to print per inch. Otherwise, you can largely ignore physical distance measurements like 8.5" by 11" -- what matters is how many pixels the image contains because that defines its resolution. The Affinity video tutorial Understanding DPI may help you understand this better. The first part of the Cambridge in Colour Basics Of Digital Camera Pixels tutorial also has some relevant info about this.
