Display the distance between objects with the "CTRL" hotkey

Hello. After the last update of the program, the CTRL hotkey that displays the distance between objects if they are within the artboard stopped working. It was very helpful in my work and now it is very inconvenient( What could be the reason and what are the steps to solve the problem?

Windows 11, Affinity Designer 2.6.0

Welcome to Affinity Forums
You don't have any object selected. Select one, press ctrl them move the mouse over the other circle (or over the canvas to display the distances between the selected object and the canvas margins).

[EDIT] Known bug [AF-5940] already fixed in Beta. It does work in regular documents, if applicable (no artboards).

I've been using the program for over 5 years, so I'm familiar with the functionality and features very well
And this screenshot was just to visualize the problem. The lower one shows how it should display, and the upper one is just for clarity and when you select one object and press CTRL with the mouse over the neighboring one, it does not display anything
