Well its come back to me any ideas. ie whichever tool I pick it is always a crosshair. Yes I have it unticked in. setting. Harrythespida Quote

If you're speaking of Brush-related Tools, though, perhaps you have the CapsLock key enabled on your keyboard? That is a toggle to switch between normal brush outline and the cross-hair.
