wim Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Hello Affinity Photo Experts, I have a question about the macro that was recorded. I have made a template to print 4 passport photos. Open the template and copy the passport photo and paste it into the template and put it in the right places. That works fine. Now I want to use another passport photo, the actions go well until I start the macro. What happens, when I start the macro it puts the photo in the right place and the other 3 photos are the photos with which I made the macro. The question is, what do I have to do to get the old photo out of the macro? I must have forgotten to do something in the macro recording. Please advice. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 25 Posted January 25 That is, unfortunately, the way that macros work in Affinity Photo. If you paste something while recording the macro, whatever you pasted is what will be pasted when you run the macro later. It does not adjust to the current contents of the clipboard. wim Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 Walt.
carl123 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Rather than using copy & paste you can sometimes get around the issues with that by using Layer > Duplicate It all depends on what exactly you want the macro to do Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. wim Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 Carl123, Bedankt voor uw idee.
Fijne dag, Wim Quote
