System:

W11 pro,

AMD 5900x, 64gb ram, RTX 4090.

Affinity photo 2 2.5.7 ( Microsoft store version )

Nvidia driver ver 566.36

Importing/opening any image in multiple format - tried jpeg, NEF from multiple sources results in a forever loading and the program just stops...working, and I get a "is not responding" from windows.

No crash logs in the folder - it just freezes and I have to kill it via task manager.

Works fine until I load up an image.

uninstall/reinstall tried - no fix.

I've loaded up the same images on affinity on a different system and they worked fine.

I can confirm selecting the WARP renderer instead of my NVIDIA gpu results in it loading up correctly.

There is an issue with the newest nvidia driver.

Hi BudgetEagle,

I'm sorry to hear the latest Nvidia GPU driver appears to be buggy with Affinity, are you able to confirm this by rolling back to a previous version?

Thanks

 Hi BudgetEagle,

I have just tested this here and I'm not running into any issues I'm afraid. It might be worth reinstalling the latest driver just to rule out any issues.

Thanks
C
