I move back and forth between the Affinity suite and Pixelmator Pro 3.6.14 depending on their individual strengths. Today I can only print from Pixelmator Pro. The Affinity apps do not even launch the printer window. I click print and the FILE icon blinks but nothing happens. I re-established my wireless printer in my iMac, running Sequoia 15.2, and updated Affinity Publisher to 2.5.7 (I got a pop up window telling me there was an update). When I launched Publisher, Apple asked me if Pub can have permission to use external devices and I click YES. None of the Affinity apps launch the print panel. Any thoughts on why? All of my other apps with print options work as expected. Did an Apple MacOS tweak in 15.2 disrupt the process?

I don't think anything changed in Sequoia 15.2 that should cause the Print dialog not to appear.

  1. Try restarting macOS - doubtful but it's worth a try
  2. Try starting Affinity with Ctrl held down and clearing the window states - it's possible it's opening up off screen - doubtful since you said it's happening with all three apps
  3. Try removing your printer presets, if any - sometimes these give trouble
  4. Try removing the printer altogether from macOS settings and then adding it back again - I hope this solves it if nothing else does.

Good luck

Agreed...I just printed something from Publisher v2.5.7 yesterday using Sequoia 15.2 over WIFI to my Canon printer (hooked up to my old Mac Pro via USB). Everything was fine.
