Hello community! 👋  this is my first post on this forum :)

Does anyone know how convert stroke shapes (brush marker textures) to a shape? — for example, if I draw / create a line with the pen and then apply one of the marker or brush styles and “outside stroke” width of let’s say 10px, how do I convert these to a shape?

“Expand Stroke” doesn’t work on them, and the [] “create a shape from selection” cannot br use because technically, the stoke is “not a shape yet”

Please have a quick look at the attached screenshots!  —  I attached a PDF abd a PNG

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

It is not possible to convert lines and/or strokes created with vector brushes into a vector shape with Affinity Designer.

The problem is that (with the exception of the plain brushes supplied with the app) the ‘vector’ brushes are really just vector paths with stretched or repeating bitmaps laid down on them.
