Lost1 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I’m trying to do the most basic of things. Write a word on a black background with a yellow shadow. I can give the words its shadow but as soon as I color the text box the full color tints the color of the shadow and if I do black it covers the shadow completely. I don’t get it. Is the app broken? I’ve attached a video. IMG_2054.mov Quote
NotMyFault Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Probably the blend mode of the shadow. Not a bug. can you please upload the file shown in the video? Hangman Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hi @Lost1 and welcome to the forums, As @NotMyFault mentioned, this is the result of the Blend Mode... The default Blend Mode for the Outer Shadow is Mutliply which is why the Orange Shadow appears to vanish when floating over the Black rectangle... Change the Blend Mode in the Outer Shadow FX window to something like Lighten, Screen or Add and you should see the expected result...
