Nalaleiin Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hi guys! When Affinity (It doesn't matter if its Photo, Publisher or Designer, it happens with all of them with any file) is running and I open another window of any program, it crashes. Mostly, it happens when I open the new window and press minimize. The Support told me to delete User data while starting Affinity, but that fixes the problem only for approx. 5 minutes. This bug is really annoying because everytime Affinity crashes, I need to restart my whole computer, or Affinity won't start again. I'm using Windows 10 and the newest Version of the V2 Software. I hope I was able to descibe the problem properly and someone can help me Quote

Nalaleiin Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Actually yes, I found a crash report! But its really old, so I don't know if its the fitting one for my problem. I even found the windows event logs and made Affinity crash on purpose, so I could find the right event. I attached both files. 52021ee3-12cc-4eda-9bc6-1d3d5aa52155.dmp Affinity_Crash.evtx Quote
Staff Callum Posted January 10 Staff Posted January 10 Hi Nalalaeiin, Unfortunately I can't see much in either log I'm afraid. Please could you tell me the full system specs of your computer and if possible could you open Affinity navigate to the app's preferences and then provide a screenshot of the entire performance window? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Nalaleiin Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 So I got a Win 10 Laptop with 16gb RAM and this Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz. When I took the Screenshot of the performance Window, I saw that Affinity is using 12gb of RAM - so only 4gb are left for other software. Could the Problem be that easy? Quote
