Affinity-Inspiration Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Now I know we aren't doing Video, but... FCP has some nice tools in it for altering convergence and so on for working with Spatial/3D stereoscopic imaging. Now, Stereoscopic/3D/Spatial images are a thing. Indeed, iPhone 15 Pro and up can take Stereoscopic images, and export them in a format that is exportable and useable to Apple Visionpro(MV-HEVC) and probably others. So I'm wondering if any work is being done on Stereocopic formats and exports of such work. That would be really really cool. Quote iPad Mini 6. 256GB. My GoTo design platform. M2 Mac Mini. 24GB. fde101 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Serif has also indicated they have no intention of adding 3D support to the apps each time they have been asked; however, Photo does some limited support for various panoramic (not stereoscopic) image formats under Layer -> Live Projection. That is probably the closest I would expect to see on this anytime soon. Quote
2ddpainter Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 I'm not sure if it falls into your categories for 3D you could take a look at ClipStudioPaint there are some videos about it on youtube search for "ClipStudioPaint 3D" a search for "ClipStudioPaint Panorama" may also interest you Quote
Affinity-Inspiration Posted December 26, 2024 Author Posted December 26, 2024 Thanks folks. I’ve found a solution that does what I want. Seems to work pretty well, except for the export file. Still experimenting with a suitable format. Quote iPad Mini 6. 256GB. My GoTo design platform. M2 Mac Mini. 24GB. LG 4K Monitor. + Samsung Monitor 2. Windows 10 Toshiba. Windows 11 Parallels on Mac.
