Hello,

why do two objects of the same color turn blue where they overlap in Affinity Designer? I’m working on a logo, and when I place one object over another (both with the same color), the overlapping area changes to a blue tint. How can I disable this?

Thank you

Well blend modes could cause a change of colour but the easiest way to advise you what is happening with your document is if you upload it to the forum on your next post

But not with two black objects, where only Contrast Negate would make the upper object white.

Without a little more information, e.g. on the operating system, and on the PC/laptop the current graphics card drivers, this becomes a guessing game!

I downloaded the image he/she uploaded and sampled the colour

The colour shown is R17, G49, B42

Using that colour, various blend modes do affect the colour but none produce the "light blue" he is seeing, hence the request that he/she upload the document to the forum
