Hi @Josh24,

I'm not experiencing any crashes when filtering for the search term in the Index Panel or when searching for it in the Find and Replace panel on Windows or Mac...

I don't think it will make any difference but if you remove the emoji on Master Pages A and B which is an unsupported character, do you still experience the crash?

Hi @Josh24,

Many thanks for the screen recording...

I've now managed to replicate the crash, it seems to affect all the topics in your file... I've tried rebuilding the Index but I still see the same crash on that particular Find in Document term...

I'm still running tests to try and determine the cause of the crash as it appears to be Windows specific...

Apologies on the late reply,

After a fair bit of trial and error, I can consistently replicate the crash on new documents but only on Windows, using 'Find in document' on index topics longer than around ~40 characters appears to trigger an app crash, I'll get this logged with the developers.

The issue "Index Panel- Using 'Find in Document' on index topics around 40 characters triggers an app crash" (REF: AF-5440) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.3078). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
